New Energy Displays
BEMS Energy have designed, produced and installed an Energy Display sign for a Police Headquarters building. The sign updates every 30 seconds with kWh, CO2 and £ used in the last hour. The kWh cost is updated remotely via a Building Management system. When energy used exceeds budget, the figures turn red to inform the occupants.
The energy signs can be configured to take information from pulse meters, via Modbus or even from a Web server. BEMS Energy can even install the meters required if the building has no suitable metering.
The display is a perfect tool for informing building occupants of costs, and will prove useful in facing the CRC challenge which will affect all large energy users.
The displays can also be configured for almost any requirement, eg security status, plant failure etc.
BEMS Energy have also fitted six displays in a factory to show air pressure, temperature and humidity in each production cell.
BEMS Energy head office expansion
New staff joining in December has resulted in an increase in business, which has led to the need for improved facilities and IT services.
BEMS Energy have also recently completed TM44 Air Conditioning Statutory Inspections on over 120 buildings for Carillion PLC, including one of London's largest buildings. These were completed in a very quick timescale for a Government agency.
The surveys also identified six figure energy savings on gas and electricity, some of which have payback periods measured in weeks.
